KnowledgeBrief offers insight and overviews to currently 100 business ideas and management concepts from things like SWOT analysis, six sigma, downsizing and outsourcing to help students and business managers access information on these subjects quickly and consisely
Projects include the design and build of all KnowledgeBrief books. All the concepts are written by academic experts and doctoral researchers, meaning the concepts are written and edited by many people. We built a custom php mysql database for the concepts to be written, then developed a system to extract the database driven XML and format the book based on the design into a print ready PDF using XSL:FO.
KnowledgeBrief's first book design - BusinessBrief
The design and build of the website, incorporating membership subscription system, the ability to buy the Book online as well as access all content for members and downloads of all business concepts in individual PDF's. The website currently has over 1200 pages indexed by google, and ranks by hubspot website grader to be in the top 97% of websites.
We also continue to work on SEO for KnowledgeBrief targeting over a 100 key phrases, all to individual pages, with steady ranking increase month on month including #1 ranking for many of the phrases including primary target 'management concepts'.
We are currently in the process of doing a proper full site design, we are creating mock ups and giving to a test group of KnowledgeBrief's demographic, to identify the most effective and usable version of the site before moving on to finalising aesthetics and full site re build.
